Bart’s City Life Saver is a unique registered Charity that teaches life saving skills to people living or working in central London.

What we do

We provide exceptionally high quality training in Basic Life Support (BLS)  and safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), delivered by our passionate team of dedicated trainers.

All our trainers are either fully qualified or trainee healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses and physiotherapists, and are not only competent in the delivery of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an AED, they are skilled and experienced first aid and basic life support teachers.

All our courses comply with the current guidelines issued by the Resuscitation Council (UK) in 2021.

We want to help people to move from being passive bystanders to active lifesavers when they are faced with an emergency. We understand the need not just for technical competence amongst our participants, but also the confidence to use their skills in an emergency and the need for empathy at a time of huge stress for all concerned.

Our focus is on providing comprehensive training at a time that suits you, so that you will feel confident of exactly what to do in an emergency situation. Have a look at what our clients think!

We provide our training at the William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University of London. For more information on the research and activities they do, please visit their website.
